Saanich Green Market Moves Outdoors

Our wholesale produce market is moving outdoors, to the parking lot of the Jewish Community Centre, weather permitting on Sunday, May 7th and May 21 from 11 to 1 pm. We will have local produce from our Saanich farms and from our wholesale distributer in Vancouver. This market helps everyone but is especially helpful to students, families and seniors on fixed incomes. Our most frequent comments are how great the produce is and they are thrilled at the amount of food they can purchase... "Is that all it costs?" is a frequent exclamation, followed by "this is amazing!" 

We donate all leftover food to the Shelbourne Community Kitchen. They have 1,200 people on their list this year, 400 are children with 120 additional people added just in the last two months. "We're so grateful for the produce and our partnership!" Shelbourne Community Kitchen
