We had a very successful Chanukah Market on Sunday, December 10th. We sold out of Chanukah items and our produce was literally gobbled up along with our free gift of sufganiot (jelly donuts) for all who came to the market. We look forward to March 3rd when we re-open in the spring. Many thanks to Channah Valencia for coordinating the market. I also want to thank volunteers Phyllis Chuly, Sarah McCagherty and her Mum Pat, Len Bazar, Leon and Paulette Zetler, Miriam Waldman, Ron, Nachman and Yariv! Also much appreciation to our musicians, Bill Johnson, Avram McCagherty and Ken Beattie. We would also like to express our appreciation to the Cedarhill Scouts for the use of their facility and for always being willing to help us out with storage and other requests. In addition, we partner with The Jewish Community Centre, Fairway Markets, Fujiya Japanese Foods and last but not least a big thank you to Warren Fergus of Cobs bread on Shelbourne St., for donations of fresh bread, Challah and other goodies!
