Grocery Gift Cards Program

Jewish Family Services of Vancouver Island is pleased to announce that the Community Food Centres of Canada and their Good Food Access Fund has granted our organization $10,000 to go towards our grocery gift card program.

Both private and public donors have provided funding in support of CFCC’s Good Food Access Fund to be redistributed into communities to provide support for meal services, hamper services, expenses related to gathering country foods, and grocery cards for low-income community members. This round of funding has been provided by Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada’s Emergency Food Security Fund.

Funds may also be used to support home delivery costs-especially for seniors/elders, immuno- compromised individuals, high-risk individuals, and those who are required to socially isolate.
